Large-scale artistic fireworks display in Hanoi

Nearly 10,000 fireworks units are prepared for a high-altitude artistic fireworks display celebrating the successful 14th National Congress of the Party.

The high-altitude artistic fireworks display, organized by the People's Committee of Hanoi, is scheduled for 8 PM at My Dinh National Stadium. This event coincides with the closing day of the 14th National Congress of the Party. The highlight will be a 15-minute fireworks show, one of the largest ever held in Hanoi.

Organizers report that nearly 10,000 fireworks units will be used for the display. This includes approximately 4,600 high-altitude fireworks, 950 fountain frames, and 4,400 pyrotechnic tubes. This scale is many times larger than Hanoi's annual fireworks events, with the number of high-altitude fireworks alone being nearly 7 times greater than previous occasions.

The fireworks are programmed to synchronize with music, creating a light show across Hanoi's sky. The timing of explosions, fountains, and pyrotechnic effects is calculated for each climax of the program. For the first time, the pyrotechnic fireworks array will be directly arranged on the roof and on both sides of the B grandstand at My Dinh Stadium, following the venue's arc shape. The high-altitude fireworks launch area is designed to meet strict technical, safety, and aesthetic requirements. This arrangement optimizes visibility and widespread effect for the audience.

Beyond the final fireworks display, pyrotechnic fireworks will be integrated into many performance segments, combining music, lighting, laser, and stage effects. The organizers are also utilizing 3D mapping display technology and a multi-layer stage featuring a system of over 3,000 square meters of modern mobile LED screens.

This special art program celebrates the success of the 14th National Congress of the Party and commemorates the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (3/2/1930 - 3/2). Approximately 15,000 delegates and guests are expected to attend. The entire program will be broadcast live on VTV1 and digital platforms.

Sun Group is fully sponsoring the fireworks display, collaborating with the Ministry of National Defense, the Hanoi Capital Command, and Chemical 21 One Member Limited Liability Company for its execution. The event involves over 80 experts and technicians. Sun Group has been a partner for 13 seasons of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), along with artistic fireworks shows in Phu Quoc, Da Nang, Cat Ba, and other locations.
