Sun PhuQuoc Airways set to launch three new international routes

Sun PhuQuoc Airways announced general sales agents in Russia, China, and Malaysia on 8/6, preparing for the launch of three new international routes.

Sun PhuQuoc Airways has appointed three international general sales agents (GSAs): Avia Turizm, a member of Anex Tourism Group (Russia) — a leading tourism group operating in Europe, the Middle East, Russia, and the CIS region; Sichuan Baoyue International Aviation Service and Beijing Xianghe International Transportation Service (China); and Wifadah Travel & Tours (Malaysia), an entity with over 20 years of experience in the aviation sector across the Asia-Pacific region.

These GSAs will collaborate with Sun PhuQuoc Airways to develop markets, expand the agency network, connect travel businesses, and promote destinations. The three new international routes are expected to commence operations this year.

According to a Sun PhuQuoc Airways representative, Russia and China are significant international tourism markets for Phu Quoc. Malaysia is considered a key gateway for tourists from the ASEAN region and the Muslim market. Expanding the distribution network in these countries is expected to enhance air connectivity, boost tourism, and elevate Phu Quoc's presence on the regional tourism map.

To date, Sun PhuQuoc Airways has appointed international general sales agents in Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, and India. The airline plans to further expand its global sales network by partnering with other potential collaborators in Australia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Oman, the Czech Republic, Mongolia, and Japan.

Alongside its international endeavors, Sun PhuQuoc Airways has signed a cooperation agreement with Viet Media Travel Joint Stock Company to develop combined aviation and tourism products, expand distribution channels, and more efficiently operate its domestic flight network.

Concurrently, the airline announced the launch of three new domestic routes. Specifically, starting from 20/7 this year, the Hanoi - Nha Trang route will operate with three flights daily.

From 25/7, two additional routes, Ho Chi Minh City - Hai Phong and Hai Phong - Phu Quoc, will commence operations with one flight daily.

A representative for the airline added that expanding the distribution system in international markets, strengthening partnerships with domestic tourism businesses, and introducing new routes reflects Sun PhuQuoc Airways' comprehensive development strategy for the next phase. Beyond expanding its operational scale, the airline is gradually increasing connectivity between Phu Quoc and various domestic and international markets, contributing to the promotion of tourism, trade, and cultural exchange among destinations.
