Thanh Hoa to host fireworks displays at two locations for National Day

Thanh Hoa province will host fireworks displays at Lam Son Square and Sam Son Beach Square to celebrate National Day, with all expenses sponsored by Sun Group.

Thanh Hoa province is preparing for a grand National Day celebration on 1/9, featuring artistic fireworks displays at two locations: Lam Son Square and Sam Son Beach Square. The events, fully sponsored by Sun Group, aim to create a festive atmosphere and enrich the province's cultural calendar during the holiday. The displays are scheduled to run concurrently from 21:15 to 21:30, lasting 15 minutes. The Thanh Hoa Provincial Military Command is responsible for the technical aspects of the fireworks, while local authorities will organize special artistic programs at both venues for residents and tourists.

Sun Group's sponsorship of the National Day fireworks is part of its ongoing strategic partnership with Thanh Hoa, where it has consistently supported and collaborated on major local events. A prime example is the Sam Son Beach Tourism Festival, a distinctive annual event held continuously since 2019. This year, the festival attracted over 10,000 attendees with its large-scale music and fireworks programs, significantly boosting the summer tourism season.

The involvement of major investors like Sun Group has contributed to Thanh Hoa's positive tourism growth. In the first 7 months of the year, the province welcomed approximately 13,2 million visitors, marking an 11,3% increase compared to the same period last year. This achievement means the province has completed nearly 80% of its annual plan. Total tourism revenue reached over 20.000 billion VND, an increase of 12,9% compared to the same period in 2025.

Beyond event sponsorship, Sun Group has also developed significant tourism infrastructure. Sam Son Beach Square and the festival landscape axis, equipped with a modern musical fountain system, serve as popular venues for large-scale artistic performances. Additionally, Sun World Sam Son Water Park, a leading entertainment complex in the Northern region, offers 14 modern water rides, providing diverse entertainment options for families and youth.

The group plans to continue implementing other key projects, such as a spiritual tourism complex at Nua Mountain (Huyen Tich Am Tien), which promises to create a new spiritual destination for the region. The development of these high-quality tourism, entertainment, and accommodation ecosystems is transforming Thanh Hoa's tourism landscape. The province aims to welcome 16,8 million visitors this year.
