Vinpearl signs MOU with three South Korean tourism companies

Vinpearl has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hanatour, Marketing Highlands, and HKG Co., Ltd. (formerly Hank Golf) to promote services and products in Vietnam and South Korea.

The signing ceremony took place on 12/8 during the Vietnam - South Korea Business Forum, coinciding with the state visit of General Secretary To Lam and his wife, Ngo Phuong Ly, to South Korea from 10-13/8, at the invitation of South Korean President Lee Jae-myung and his wife.

Under the MOU, the parties aim to enhance the promotion of Vinpearl's products and services, as well as Vietnamese tourism. To achieve the goal of welcoming 5 million South Korean visitors this year, the parties will collaborate to showcase Vietnam as a destination and increase Vinpearl's appeal.

Vinpearl and its partners will strengthen promotion, connectivity, and expand the product distribution network in the South Korean market, contributing to a stable customer base and sustainable growth. This strategic partnership not only reinforces the long-term relationship between Vietnamese businesses and their partners but also expands Vinpearl's high-end product ecosystem to over 7,500 retail travel agents in South Korea. The collaboration also offers over 46,000 golf members the opportunity to experience and compete at Vinpearl's international-standard golf courses throughout Vietnam.

Ngo Thi Huong, Deputy General Director of Sales and Marketing at Vinpearl, shared that the partnership with three of South Korea's largest travel companies is a significant step in Vinpearl's journey to becoming a leading international destination. "We believe the synergy between Vinpearl's infrastructure, services, and experiences, combined with our partners' reputable distribution network, will create unique and attractive tourism products," Huong said.

The agreement between Vinpearl and the three South Korean partners marks a new chapter in strategic cooperation and a milestone in the company's roadmap for deep integration into the international market. This step contributes to positioning Vietnam as a leading resort destination in the Asia-Pacific region.

Established in 2001, Vinpearl is a leading Vietnamese tourism, hospitality, and entertainment brand. The company owns, manages, and operates 57 properties across 19 provinces and cities nationwide. Vinpearl boasts 34 5-star hotels and resorts with nearly 18,800 hotel rooms and villas. In addition, the brand operates 15 VinWonders entertainment parks, two semi-wild animal care and conservation parks, a horse academy, six golf courses, and three convention centers and international theaters.

Founded in 1993, Hanatour is one of South Korea's largest travel companies, operating 33 branches and a network of over 7,500 retail agents, holding the leading market share nationwide. In 2024, Hanatour served over 3.5 million customers.

Marketing Highlands provides comprehensive GSA contract, sales, and marketing services for resorts and hotels. Established in 2016, the company has a retail network of over 1,200 travel agents in four countries.

Founded in 2005, HKG Co., Ltd. is a leading South Korean company partnering with prestigious golf courses in major Asian countries. The company has developed a membership network of over 46,000 people through 15 golf courses in six countries.
