"Iran's enemies will carry their dream of our unconditional surrender to their graves," President Masoud Pezeshkian declared today, referring to the US and Israel.
The comment followed US President Donald Trump's social media post, stating, "there will be no deal with Iran unless they surrender unconditionally." Trump promised the US and its allies would help Iran rebuild its economy if the country complied with demands and established an "acceptable" leadership.

President Pezeshkian also apologized to neighboring countries Iran attacked after conflict erupted. "We have no intention of targeting neighboring nations. As stated many times, they are Iran's brothers," he affirmed.
He added that Iran's interim leadership council instructed its armed forces "not to attack or launch missiles at neighboring countries, unless attacked from those nations."
The Iranian leader called on Gulf nations "not to become puppets in the hands of empires and not to attack our territory." "I believe we need to resolve this issue through diplomacy, rather than fighting and causing trouble with neighbors," he said.
It remains unclear if Pezeshkian's declaration to halt attacks has taken effect.
Qatar's Ministry of Defense issued an airstrike warning the same day, announcing it intercepted missiles from Iran. Air raid sirens also sounded across Bahrain, but it was unclear if any attacks occurred.
Saudi Arabian officials previously stated that the Ras Tanura oil refinery in the east also suffered at least two unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacks last week. Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Defense announced on 7/3 it intercepted a ballistic missile targeting Prince Sultan Air Base and shot down two UAVs east of the capital Riyadh.
Crown Prince Khalid bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Defense, called on Iran the same day to "act wisely and avoid miscalculation" after the series of attacks.
