Israel launched two consecutive airstrikes on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, on Tuesday, according to witnesses. The first airstrike targeted the 4th floor of the facility. The second occurred after rescue workers, journalists, and others arrived at the hospital following the initial attack.
"15 people were killed, including 4 journalists and one civil defense member," civil defense spokesman Mahmud Bassal said.
The Israeli military and the office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have not commented on the reports.
