US First Lady Melania Trump unveiled this year's White House Christmas decorations in a video posted on X on 1/12, embracing the theme "Home is where the heart is". She shared a message: "This Christmas season, let's honor the love within us and share it with the world around us. After all, wherever we are, we can create a home full of endless possibilities."
The decorations prominently feature three main colors: red, white, and blue, reflecting the colors of the American flag.
Inside the Red Room, Christmas trees are adorned with blue butterflies and white ribbons bearing the phrase "nurture the future". Other white ornaments are printed with "Be Best", the slogan from the First Lady's public awareness campaign.
A White House press release noted that the Red Room's fireplace is dedicated to honoring caregivers, protectors, and foster parents who provide temporary homes for children not living with their families. This initiative aligns with one of Melania's primary priorities.
The East Room showcases decorations that commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States.
Among the festive displays is the 2025 Gingerbread House, weighing over 54 kg, which is exhibited in the State Dining Room.
