Plane crash in France claims eleven lives

At least eleven people died today when a civilian plane, believed to be carrying a group of parachutists, crashed in eastern France.

The incident occurred today, 28/6, near an airport in Tomblaine, northeastern France. The cause of the crash remains unknown. Local sources, cited by Reuters, confirmed that all eleven individuals on board perished.

Local media reported that an experienced pilot was operating the aircraft, which was also carrying five parachutists and five instructors. France 3 Grand Est quoted sources at the scene describing the wreckage as "still at risk of explosion."

French prosecutors, police, and health agencies are expected to hold a press conference today to provide further information and identify the victims.
