Warsaw police spokesperson Jacek Wisniewski said the Ukrainian man violated Polish aviation law and will be fined and deported. He is also banned from entering Europe's Schengen Area for 5 years.
"He will be handed over to Ukrainian border guards today," Polish border guard spokesperson Dagmara Bielec said.
The Belarusian girl was questioned by police and released without charge.
Poland's air defense system is on high alert after at least 19 suspected Russian UAVs crossed into Polish airspace, mostly from Belarus. Polish authorities said most of the UAVs crashed in the eastern Lubelskie province, but two flew over 300 km from the border.
The Russian Ministry of Defense stated it had conducted a large-scale joint attack with high-precision weapons and long-range UAVs targeting defense enterprises in western Ukraine. Russia claimed it had no intention of striking any targets within Polish territory.
