Harry and Meghan plan to leave the US by the end of this month, relocating to a private residence not owned by the British royal family and reportedly situated outside London, Telegraph reported on 19/8.
Many British news outlets, including BBC, reported that the couple's two children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, have been enrolled in a school in England, preparing for the new academic year beginning in September.
This information emerged just a few weeks after Harry and Meghan, along with their children, made a short visit to England in early July. During this trip, they had a private meeting with King Charles, marking the first time he had met Harry's children in four years. Press Association reported that King Charles was informed of Harry and Meghan's plans last weekend. The British royal family has not yet commented on the information.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams called Prince Harry and Meghan's move a "special development". Fitzwilliams commented, "To be honest, my first thought is that they have not been successful in the US. They have essentially failed to become A-list stars in Hollywood."
After announcing their departure from the royal family, Harry and Meghan moved to North America in 2020. Tensions between the couple and the British royal family worsened as they repeatedly disclosed family secrets to the public, such as during their interview with television host Oprah Winfrey or through the publication of the memoir, Spare.

In his memoir published in 2023, Harry addressed disagreements with family members. Harry stated that his brother hit him during an argument about Meghan. William criticized Meghan as "difficult, rude, arrogant, and aggressive", which angered Harry and led him to criticize William for repeating what the press had written about her.
Prince Harry, however, said last year that he wished to reconcile with his father, King Charles, who is battling cancer and undergoing treatment.
