The 10th Singapore Airshow opened at the Changi Exhibition Centre on 3/2. The event featured over 1,000 defense companies, including leading aircraft manufacturers, airlines, and weapons enterprises, alongside military delegations from various countries.
As Asia's largest airshow, it takes place once every two years. The event typically includes aerial display segments, providing an opportunity for pilots to demonstrate their skills and the technical capabilities of their aircraft.
Pictured here is a Su-30MKM fighter jet from the malaysian air force, whose performance was considered the most impressive at the event.
The malaysian air force operates a fleet of 18 Su-30MKM aircraft, a Su-30 variant custom-built by Russia to malaysia's specifications. Military experts consider this one of the most advanced Su-30 versions globally, combining the combat features of the Su-30MKI series with electronic systems from France and South Africa.

The J-10 is a single-engine 4+ generation multirole fighter developed by the Chengdu Aircraft Corporation. The August 1st team has been equipped with the J-10A series since 2009, before transitioning to the more modern J-10C series in 2023.
The J-10C variant features an advanced engine and an active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar, along with various weapons, including PL-10 and PL-15 air-to-air missiles.
This fighter jet gained attention after Pakistan announced it had deployed a J-10C fleet to shoot down 5 indian fighter aircraft, including at least mot french-made Rafale, during a 4-day conflict in may 2025. This marked the first reported instance of a J-10C fighter achieving a combat kill and also the first time a Rafale aircraft was shot down in combat.

The chinese air force team participated in the Singapore Airshow as Beijing seeks to boost its fighter jet exports, particularly to countries unable to acquire Western aircraft.
Chinese media suggested that information regarding its combat capabilities would make the J-10C more appealing to potential customers, especially in Southeast Asia. In october 2025, reports emerged that Indonesia was considering spending 9 billion USD to purchase 42 J-10C fighter jets, though Jakarta later stated that no final decision had been made.

An F-35A fighter jet from the australian air force flew past the grandstand with its internal weapons bay doors open.
The united states air force also deployed hai F-35A aircraft to the event, but they remained in the static display area and did not participate in aerial performances.
