Donald Trump Jr., 47, announced his engagement to girlfriend Bettina Anderson during a ceremony at the White House on 15/12, stating, "I want to thank Bettina for saying 'yes'." The announcement was made in the presence of President Donald Trump.
Anderson described the moment as unforgettable. She expressed that she felt like "the luckiest girl in the world" to be engaged to the man she loves.
President Donald Trump stood behind the couple, smiling.
Donald Jr. was previously married for 12 years to Vanessa Trump, divorcing in 2018. They have 5 children, including their eldest daughter, Kai Trump, 18, who spoke at the 2024 Republican national convention.
After his divorce, Donald Jr. began dating Kimberly Guilfoyle, and they became engaged in 2020. The two later went their separate ways, and Guilfoyle was chosen by Mr. Trump to be the U.S. ambassador to Greece.
Anderson is the daughter of philanthropist Harry Loy Anderson Jr. and Inger Anderson. She works with foundations supporting medical research related to depression, conservation efforts in Florida, and education.
In 12/2024, Donald Jr. attended Anderson's birthday party in Palm Beach, Florida. He also invited Anderson as a guest to the Trump family's New Year's Eve party at Mar-a-Lago. Anderson had appeared at Mr. Trump's presidential inauguration earlier this year.
