Lynk & Co Vietnam, part of Tasco Auto, has confirmed that all its internal combustion engine vehicles, including hybrid models, are compatible with E10 biofuel. This compatibility extends to models such as the Lynk & Co 01, 05, 06, 08, and 09, ensuring smooth operation without the need for vehicle modifications.
The company, in collaboration with its parent firm in China, began researching, evaluating, and testing E10 fuel in mid-last year. This proactive approach included assessing the fuel's impact and compatibility when E10 was test-marketed last year in Hanoi, Hai Phong, and Ho Chi Minh City.

By August 2025, Lynk & Co China officially confirmed that all vehicle lines distributed in Vietnam could use international standard E10 fuel. This ensures no adverse effects on the mechanical components of the engines.
Modern vehicles are largely designed with materials and components, including fuel lines, injectors, and rubber gaskets, to accommodate various fuel types, including biofuels. Lynk & Co's range of vehicles, encompassing traditional internal combustion engines (01, 05, 06), mild-hybrid systems (09), and plug-in hybrid powertrains (08), are all compatible with E10 biofuel.
Experts highlight that E10 offers several benefits, such as reducing greenhouse gas emissions, boosting octane ratings, and decreasing reliance on fossil fuels. However, ethanol, being hygroscopic and having a lower energy density than mineral gasoline, may lead to a slight decrease in engine performance and a marginal increase in fuel consumption under certain conditions.

To mitigate potential drawbacks, Lynk & Co advises users to adhere to regular maintenance schedules, avoid storing fuel in the tank for extended periods, and prioritize refueling at reputable, large gas stations to ensure fuel quality.
