Dashcam footage shows the driver, Minh Hong, correctly positioned in the innermost lane approaching the intersection. A white Peugeot from the left lane attempted to overtake Hong's vehicle. As the Peugeot moved ahead, it drifted to the right, encroaching into Hong’s lane. Hong stated that after the Peugeot was more than halfway past her car, its rear end suddenly swiped the back of her vehicle. Following the collision, the Peugeot continued driving without stopping.
