Dreame, known for its high-performance vacuum cleaners and robots, announced on 28/8 that its first electric supercar will directly target the Bugatti Veyron, with a planned launch in 2027.
Dreame has built its reputation on high-speed digital motor technology, receiving the world's first Sullivan certification for a 200,000 rpm digital motor this year. This technology, currently used in the company's flagship Z50 Station vacuum cleaner, will be instrumental in Dreame's pursuit of creating "the world's fastest car."
"The luxury car industry lacks a truly intelligent electric vehicle brand," Dreame's statement declared. "While traditional luxury car brands like Bugatti and Bentley are slow to embrace electrification and intelligence, Dreame will redefine what super luxury means in the coming automotive era."

According to Iyiou, the company has assembled a team of nearly 1,000 experts for this project, drawing talent from both the smart hardware and traditional automotive manufacturing sectors. Dreame plans to further expand this team and invest long-term in automotive technology.
Dreame states its supercar will feature an AI companion system capable of learning and adapting to the driver's habits, preferences, and even emotional states. The voice interaction system will reportedly go beyond traditional mechanical responses, recreating familiar vocal characteristics with emotional nuances akin to human communication. The car will also integrate with the user's smart home and mobile device ecosystem.
CarNewsChina reports that Dreame was once a member of the Xiaomi ecosystem, producing products like vacuum cleaners and robot vacuums for Xiaomi, although it no longer operates within that ecosystem. Xiaomi's notable success in car manufacturing may have inspired Dreame.
However, Dreame is not the first vacuum cleaner manufacturer to aspire to automotive ventures. The renowned vacuum cleaner brand Dyson also had a similar dream, even producing the Dyson electric car, but ultimately abandoned the project.
