On 15/9, Green SM introduced the first electric taxi service in Makassar, contributing to the local "Low Carbon City" initiative. Witnessed by several Indonesian officials, the Vietnamese electric vehicle company pledged to provide quality journeys based on five key principles: modern electric vehicles, good drivers, good fares, good experience, and zero emissions.
A day later, Green SM expanded to Bekasi, a commercial, industrial, and service hub in West Java. This expansion follows Green SM's success in Jakarta, further developing the green transportation network and improving air quality.

The same day, the company also deployed a fleet of electric taxis at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport with the Green SM Airport service, through a partnership with Taksi Diamond Airport. This airport is one of the largest aviation hubs in Southeast Asia, serving tens of millions of passengers annually.
Deny Tjia, general director of Green SM Indonesia, stated that the Green SM Airport service marks a new phase in the company's commitment to transforming transportation in Indonesia. "Each trip is part of a larger effort to connect transportation with sustainable development and community benefits," he said.
In this market, users can book rides through a smartphone app, hail taxis directly, or find them at designated taxi stands at the airport. Green SM is the official global ride-hailing brand of GSM, operating as Xanh SM in Vietnam and Laos, Green SM in Indonesia, and Green GSM in the Philippines. According to the company, GSM uses VinFast electric cars in all markets, with drivers sharing a similar service culture focused on safety and attentiveness.
