The Ferrari 296 GTS was introduced by the official dealer in Vietnam in early 2023. A limited number of vehicles entered the country with a starting price of 23 billion VND, about 2 billion VND more expensive than the hardtop 296 GTB. This price does not include personalized options.

The recently delivered Ferrari 296 GTS features a yellow exterior and interior, personalized by the owner. The retractable hardtop can be opened or closed in 14 seconds via a button on the dashboard. The roof splits into two sections and folds beneath the engine cover. The rear glass partition between the seats can be adjusted to reduce engine noise.

The supercar is equipped with a 3.0 V6 hybrid engine producing 654 horsepower, supplemented by 165 horsepower from an electric motor, for a total output of 819 horsepower. The car can travel 25 km in pure electric EV mode at speeds up to 135 km/h. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a top speed of 330 km/h. The car has 4 driving modes: eDrive, Hybrid, Performance, and Qualify.

The 296 GTS is fitted with 20-inch wheels. Ferrari designed the air vents to direct airflow from front to back while also cooling the high-performance brakes. At the front, the LED headlights also have air vents to channel air down to the front brakes for cooling. The 296 GTS cockpit features Ferrari's signature racing style with added technological details. It includes a flat-bottom steering wheel with carbon fiber trim, paddle shifters, and touch buttons.

Doctor Ngo Mong Hung, the owner of the supercar, said he has owned several luxury cars from BMW, Porsche, and Mercedes-Maybach, but Ferrari has always held "a special allure" due to its connection to his profession.

"The 296 GTS's convertible top offers a liberating driving experience, the V6 hybrid engine is both powerful and environmentally friendly, and the design language blends art and speed."
