The South Korean automaker Hyundai introduced an update for its Palisade SUV in its domestic market. This update includes the addition of the High Roof variant, alongside Black Ink and XRT trim packages, and standard upgrades for the Exclusive model.
The 2027 Palisade draws inspiration from the Kia Carnival High Roof minivan. By raising the roof by 240 mm, Hyundai created a spacious interior, offering a feeling akin to a private ground jet. The High Roof variant's height is 2,005 mm, ensuring it can access standard parking garages.

Externally, the Palisade High Roof is identifiable by its extended roof, matching the body color, combined with faux aluminum accents. It features black window trim and 21-inch alloy wheels. This variant comes standard with preview electronic controlled suspension (ECS), which uses a front camera and navigation data to scan the road and automatically adjust the dampers.
Inside, the High Roof variant, with its elevated ceiling, creates an airy feel akin to a VIP shuttle or a private jet. The customizable ceiling integrates pop-up LED reading lights, air vents, a separate air conditioning control panel, a 21,4-inch screen, and a Starry Sky Ambient ceiling effect, reminiscent of Rolls-Royce styling.
The optional VIP Package 2 adds a second-row multi-function control console with dual wireless charging pads, an integrated air purifier, UV-C sterilization, a heated compartment, and floor mats. The remaining interior details are inherited from the standard Palisade, with 7 or 9-seat configurations.
For 2027, the Palisade in the Korean market offers the Black Ink darkened trim package and the XRT off-road style package for the first time.
Similar to the US market version, the Palisade Black Ink is based on the Calligraphy trim, adding black accents, black badges, and 21-inch black alloy wheels. The Korean version comes standard with preview electronic controlled suspension and second-row massage seats.
The XRT package focuses on a rugged exterior design with a unique grille, body cladding, a roof rack, 20-inch wheels, a 14-speaker Bose sound system, and second-row ventilated seats. This XRT package does not include lifted suspension, electronic limited-slip differential (eLSD), or specialized off-road tires, unlike the XRT Pro variant in the US.

The 2027 model brings equipment enhancements to the base Palisade Exclusive. It features a panoramic curved display and an advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
The 2027 Palisade offers gasoline and self-charging hybrid engine options. The 2,5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine produces 277 horsepower, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The hybrid variant delivers 329 horsepower, combined with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Both setups are available in front-wheel drive (FWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) configurations.
In South Korea, the 2027 Hyundai Palisade starts at 32,300 USD for the 9-seat gasoline Exclusive variant. The XRT variant starts from 37,700 USD, and the Black Ink variant from 41,700 USD. The 7-seat Palisade High Roof Hybrid is the most expensive in the lineup, priced at 59,000 USD.
