In an X social media post on 16/10, technology expert Robert Scoble noted that the Roadster is a car users do not truly control. Instead, drivers simply issue commands for the computer system to operate autonomously.
Responding to this statement, Elon Musk confirmed: "That's right. You can command the Roadster to perform any stunt, as it will perceive and operate intelligently.
Additionally, we will build an extreme loop track (even more thrilling than Hot Wheels models) right at our Texas headquarters for Roadster owners to fully experience".

Musk’s description of the track as "more thrilling than Hot Wheels models" provides a vivid image. Users familiar with Hot Wheels track sets or their virtual counterparts in games like Forza Horizon 5 can easily visualize the design. However, sitting inside an actual car on such a loop track would be an entirely different experience. Musk affirmed in his post that Tesla welcomes Roadster owners to test their vehicles at the Texas track.
The Tesla CEO also characterized the Roadster as a "sentient" vehicle, agreeing with Scoble's view that human intervention in driving will be minimal. Musk's response implies that customers can execute complex maneuvers autonomously, provided they have the correct accessory package.
However, Musk did not specify when the test track would open or the timeline for the launch of these autonomous stunt features. The Roadster model is only expected to enter production between 2027 and 2028, as it has not yet met the necessary conditions for public road circulation. Consequently, customers who have been on the waiting list for over a decade will need to remain patient.
Elon Musk has not yet disclosed further details regarding the size of the loops, the total length of the track, or any other accompanying amenities at this experience zone.

Not for the masses
To perform the aforementioned extreme launch maneuvers, users will likely need to own at least the Roadster Thrust variant. Tesla is currently accepting deposits for this version, priced at 250,000 USD. Meanwhile, the top-tier Rocket variant is available only to those who receive a special invitation.
In its standard configuration, the Tesla Roadster features an active aerodynamic system combined with multi-mode ground effect technology, optimizing downforce and reducing drag. This enables the Performance variant to accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 1,6 seconds, according to the company's claims. Customers can currently place a deposit for this version with 50,000 USD.
The Thrust variant offers a more impressive performance, integrating the active aerodynamic system with cold gas thrusters developed by SpaceX. This combination reduces the 0-96 km/h acceleration time to just 0,9 seconds. This variant is considered ideal for fully experiencing the loop track at Tesla's headquarters.
The most remarkable is the Tesla Roadster Rocket variant, which boasts 10 cold gas thrusters positioned around the body and rear of the car to optimize acceleration. This model is advertised with a 0-96 km/h acceleration time of approximately 0,59 seconds.
