Inkas operates a nearly 46,500 m2 factory in Canada, with a network of offices, distributors, and authorized repair centers across continents. Their product range spans from luxury SUVs and sedans to limousines and tactical vehicles. Inkas has developed bulletproof versions of SUVs like the Mercedes-AMG G63, Lexus LX600, Toyota Land Cruiser 300, and Cadillac Escalade.
According to Inkas, their products are present in over 78 countries and territories, supporting governments, businesses, and individuals facing threats of terrorism and violence. Inkas' reputation stems from offering a wide array of options, accessories, and protection levels. Many of their vehicles meet VPAM VR7 or VR9 standards – the protection level for VIP vehicles, capable of withstanding rifle fire and mine explosions.
In addition, Inkas vehicles can achieve CEN 1063 BR7 certification, the highest level of bulletproof glass according to European standards, resistant to 7.62 mm armor-piercing rounds.
The VinFast Lac Hong 900 LX, equipped with the VPAM VR7 bulletproof package, is a special limited-edition electric SUV developed in partnership with Inkas. The vehicle comes in two versions: Bulletproof and Standard. The Bulletproof version meets VPAM VR7 standards, withstanding NATO Ball M80 ammunition commonly used in M14 and AK-47 rifles (7.62 x 51 mm) and DM51 grenades. The vehicle is fully armored, with reinforced body, chassis, glass, and a bulletproof rear partition.

The VPAM VR7 standard doesn't just test individual materials; it evaluates the entire vehicle's ballistic resistance. First, VPAM engineers analyze the armor design, identifying potential weaknesses. During testing, they focus fire on vulnerable areas like joints, doors, and pillars. To pass and receive certification, the vehicle must not have any penetrating bullet holes.
The VinFast Lac Hong 900 LX underwent testing at Beschussamt Ulm (a testing facility in Germany), enduring 440 rounds fired at various locations and 11 mine detonations. VinFast is currently displaying the tested vehicle, bearing hundreds of bullet marks, at the "80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness" exhibition at the National Exhibition Center in Dong Anh, Hanoi.

The Lac Hong 900 LX draws inspiration from the "Children of Dragon, Grandchildren of Fairy" legend. Both versions have a 3,349 mm wheelbase and a stately, luxurious design. Features include a gold-plated Lac bird logo, a Dong Son drum-inspired grille, and bamboo-inspired slats.
The interior features premium materials like Golden Nanmu wood, Nappa leather, and real gold. Gold-plated details are handcrafted. The rear compartment is designed for dignitaries, with a soundproof glass partition, electric curtains, and a communication system to the driver's compartment.
The engine is similar to the VF 9 Plus, with two 150 kW electric motors, producing 402 hp in the standard version and 455 hp in the bulletproof version, with 620 Nm of torque. The vehicle has a range of up to 595 km on a single charge. It also features run-flat tires that allow for 80-100 km of driving after a puncture, with optional oxygen supply, fire suppression system, satellite phone, warning lights, and siren.
VinFast has delivered an initial batch of two Bulletproof and ten Standard vehicles to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The "80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness" exhibition, spanning nearly 260,000 m2, is the largest to date, with participation from 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries and sectors, and over 230 booths from 106 state-owned and private enterprises. The event is open to the public free of charge until 5/9.
