The Zongheng G700's wading depth is among the best globally for SUVs. Popular models known for their wading capabilities, such as the Land Rover Defender, only reach 900 mm, while the Ford Endeavour, Isuzu mu-X, and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport reach 800 mm.
The Zhongheng features Chery's advanced Falcon 500 driver-assistance system, offering parking assistance and high-speed navigation-based autonomous driving. It also supports intelligent terrain modes and low-speed four-wheel drive.
Power comes from Chery's high-performance CDM-O Kunpeng hybrid system, which includes a 2.0-liter engine and two electric motors, paired with a two-speed DHT transmission. This combination generates a total output of 751 horsepower and 795 Nm of torque. The 2.0-liter engine alone produces 208 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque with 45.5% thermal efficiency. Fuel consumption is rated at 1.39 liters/100 km, and the 0-100 km/h acceleration time is 4.6 seconds.
Combined with a CATL-supplied integrated 4C Shenxing battery pack, the Jetour Zongheng G700 has a range of up to 1,400 km. With fast charging, the battery can be charged from 30% to 80% in just 10 minutes.
Inside the cabin, the boxy door contours create a rugged style, complemented by square air vents, a 15.6-inch central control screen, a 35.4-inch display screen behind the dashboard, and a three-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel.
Other features include a 17.3-inch rear ceiling screen and a refrigerator with a temperature range of -6 to 50℃. The seats feature ventilation, heating, and massage functions.
Much of the interior is upholstered in leather or suede, accented with metal trim and rivets, enhancing the off-road aesthetic. The vehicle can seat five or six people, depending on the configuration.
