Sales of its eco-friendly models surged by 187% compared to the same period in 2025. This growth was fueled by robust demand for the sportage hybrid, which saw a 165% increase, the sorento hybrid, up 145%, and the carnival hybrid, with a 54% rise.
The sportage was the best-selling model in june, with customers purchasing a total of 15,995 units, representing a 26.6% growth compared to 2025. The updated telluride followed closely, with 11,432 units sold, marking a 23.7% increase.

The K4 ranked third with 10,553 units sold, though its sales decreased by 8.7%. However, the K5 avoided a similar fate, with sales increasing by 13.6% to 6,378 units.
Electric vehicle sales presented a mixed picture: the EV6 saw a decline of 96 units, dropping to 584 vehicles, while the EV9 experienced a 42.3% increase, reaching 1,299 units.
Notably, minivan sales increased by 34.4% in june, and total sales for this segment rose by 20.9% in the first six months of the year. These impressive growth figures indicate a substantial and continuing market for vans.
An important observation is Kia's success in phasing out the soul without negatively impacting overall sales. This is considered a positive development, as the model had sold 4,737 units in june 2025 and 26,126 units in the first half of 2025.
