On 5/9, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) stopped a man driving a Barbie Jeep on Highway 15 near Nicholson Street during morning rush hour, a dangerous act. When questioned, the driver explained he wanted a smoothie but felt too lazy to walk, so he borrowed the toy car from his roommate's child.

According to Road&Track, the driver, Kasper Lincoln, is 40 years old. During the stop, police suspected impaired driving. Lincoln was given two breathalyzer tests and failed both. His driver's license was subsequently suspended.
Lincoln claimed he didn't know he was breaking the law and said he mostly used the sidewalk before being stopped. His license suspension was extended by 90 days. He will appear in court in December to face charges of driving without a license.
The Jeep Wrangler Power Wheels Barbie is designed for children aged 3-7 and has a maximum weight capacity of approximately 68 kg. The toy Jeep has a top speed of only 8 km/h.
