Mercedes EQB 2025: the luxury 7-seater electric vehicle priced at 2.309 billion VND

The mid-cycle upgrade of the EQB features subtle design changes to the interior and exterior, and an upgraded battery for a longer range than the previous version.

Mercedes Vietnam recently announced the price of 2.309 billion VND for the upgraded 2025 Mercedes EQB 7-seater crossover. The vehicle still comes in only one version, with a slight price increase of about 20 million VND compared to the previous generation.

The 2025 Mercedes EQB largely retains its overall design. The changes in the new version are seen in the grille with a star pattern surrounding the central logo. The 19-inch wheels also have a new design.

Slightly changed cockpit.

Newly designed steering wheel.

Leather seats.

For the interior, the layout remains the same. Only the steering wheel and armrest have been redesigned. Mercedes has added decorative trim to the cockpit with a three-pointed star pattern integrating hidden LED lights. The front and rear rows of seats have additional charging ports for mobile devices.

In terms of safety technology, the Mercedes EQB adds active brake assist and blind spot monitoring.

The new EQB retains the front-wheel-drive configuration with a 190 horsepower motor and 385 Nm of torque. However, the battery capacity has increased from 66.5 kWh to 70 kWh. The operating range has also increased from 422-473 km to 468-537 km, depending on driving conditions.

In Vietnam, in terms of design and 7-seat configuration, the Mercedes EQB has no direct competitors. The vehicle is aimed at families who prioritize interior space and carrying multiple passengers. The EQB is the all-electric version of the GLB gasoline-powered model that has been sold to Vietnamese customers since 2020.

The EQB is currently one of five all-electric Mercedes models in Vietnam, alongside the EQS sedan, EQS SUV, EQE SUV, and G-class EQ. With this product lineup, Mercedes is the leading brand in terms of the number of all-electric vehicles in the luxury segment of the domestic market. Competing German brands like BMW and Audi only have three all-electric products.
