At a busy intersection, a motorcyclist wearing a ride-hailing service uniform suddenly cut in front of a car to turn left. The close proximity led to the car, equipped with a dashcam, hitting the motorcyclist, who then fell. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
When changing direction, in addition to signaling, drivers should check and proceed only when it is safe. Motorcyclists, in particular, should not abruptly cut in front of cars to change direction, as this poses a danger to themselves and other road users.
