In a busy traffic situation on Soc Son Road, a motorcyclist attempted to overtake another vehicle just as a truck approached from the opposite direction. Slamming on the brakes to avoid hitting the vehicle in front, the motorcyclist fell onto the road just as the truck passed. The driver who shared the dashcam footage remarked, "Luckily, the truck's tire grazed his helmet, pushing his head away. The tire only ran over his hand."
On busy roads, vehicles should reduce speed and avoid reckless overtaking. Overtaking should only be attempted when it's completely safe. Motorcyclists, in particular, should be aware that sudden braking using the front brake (right-hand side) shifts the vehicle's center of gravity forward. Excessive front braking can lock the front wheel, leading to loss of control and falls, as seen in the video.
