Mercedes dealerships are currently accepting deposits for the 2025 E-class. This is the 6th generation of the mid-size luxury sedan, a best-seller in its segment in Vietnam for many years.
According to sales consultants, the new Mercedes E-class is expected to be available in three versions: E 200 Avantgarde, E 200 Exclusive, and E 300 AMG. Pricing has not yet been revealed.

The new E-class features a completely redesigned exterior and interior. The sleek, unisex styling remains. The grille and headlights have a fresh, more polished look. The taillights have a new star-shaped pattern inspired by the brand's logo.
The mid-size Mercedes sedan has flush door handles and an active grille that can close to reduce drag when cooling demands are low. The top-of-the-line version features rear-axle steering of 4.5 degrees at speeds below 60 km/h and 2.5 degrees above 60 km/h. It also boasts the Airmatic air suspension with continuously adjustable damping.
The interior of the new E-class blends elements of the EQS and S-class. The highest-end E 300 AMG version features a seamless MBUX display comprising three screens spanning the dashboard.
Internationally, Mercedes offers mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) powertrain options. The mild hybrids start with the rear-wheel-drive E 200, equipped with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine producing 201 horsepower, supplemented by a 23-horsepower electric motor. Torque stands at 320 Nm.
The PHEV versions of the new E-class offer an electric-only range of 107-120 km, powered by a 129-horsepower motor and a 25.4 kWh battery. The main combustion engine is a 2-liter gasoline unit generating 204 horsepower.
All versions come with a 9-speed automatic transmission and are available in rear-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations.
In Vietnam, the current Mercedes E-class is offered in three versions: the E 180 at 2.09 billion VND, the E 200 Exclusive at 2.39 billion VND, and the E 300 AMG at 2.95 billion VND. Its main competitor is the BMW 5 Series, which launched its new generation in June, also locally assembled. The BMW is available in three versions: the 520i at 2.589 billion VND, the 520i M Sport at 2.739 billion VND, and the 530i M Sport at 3.099 billion VND.
