Honda launched its new Winner R at an event in Da Lat (Lam Dong) on 13/9. This latest generation of the Japanese automaker's sports motorbike is an evolution of the Winner, originally launched in 2016.
The new Winner R, with the "R" standing for "Racing", comes in three versions, priced between 46.16 and 50.56 million VND. This price remains unchanged from the previous generation, the Winner X.

The motorbike features a distinctive front end. The new LED headlight cluster incorporates crystal lighting technology for increased brightness, and integrated LED turn signals. The front suspension consists of telescopic forks with hydraulic damping.
Compared to the first-generation Winner, the current model boasts a significantly more powerful and sporty appearance.

The 2026 Winner R measures 2,013 mm in length, 725 mm in width, and 1,075 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1,277 mm. The seat height is 795 mm, and the ground clearance is 153 mm.
Compared to the Winner X's dimensions of 2,019 x 727 x 1,104 mm, the new Winner R is slightly smaller. The seat height remains the same, while the ground clearance has increased by 2 mm.

The new Winner R's design is more racing-inspired than the Winner X. The bike has a dry weight of 124 kg, a 2 kg increase over the Winner X. The fuel tank capacity remains at 4.5 liters.
The Winner R is powered by a 150cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection, DOHC, 4 valves, producing 15.4 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It features a 6-speed gearbox and an assist and slipper clutch.

A negative LCD digital instrument panel displays all essential vehicle information.
According to the manufacturer, the 2026 Winner R has a fuel consumption of 2.59 liters/100 km in combined conditions.

The bike is equipped with 17-inch multi-spoke cast wheels. The front tire is a 90/80 R17, with a single disc brake and a single-piston Nisin caliper, along with a single-channel ABS.

All three versions of the 2026 Winner R are equipped with a smartkey system. A USB-A charging port with a waterproof cover provides added convenience for long journeys.

The redesigned grab handles are recessed into the sides, unlike the previous generation's protruding handles. They are made of sturdy metal.

The rear wheel also uses a 17-inch multi-spoke rim with a 120/70 R17 tire. It has a single disc brake and a single-piston Nisin caliper. The rear suspension features a twin-sided swingarm and a monoshock. The exhaust is sporty.
The Winner's main competitor remains the long-standing rival, the Yamaha Exciter. The Exciter comes in both 150cc and 155cc engine options with various versions, ranging in price from 45.8 to 55.2 million VND.
