Omoda C7 expected to start from 839 million VND

Following a series of events introducing it to Vietnamese customers, Omoda officially begins sales of the C7 CUV model, available in gasoline and PHEV versions.

The Omoda C7 first appeared at an event in Hanoi in 8/2025. After nearly half a year of display and introduction, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam began accepting deposits for the C-segment CUV. The expected price for the gasoline Flagship version is 839 million VND, and the PHEV Flagship version is 949 million VND. Official pricing will be announced in Q2 this year. The vehicle is available in four color options: white, black, gray, and green.

The vehicle is designed with the "Art in Motion" language. Its front design shares similarities with the Lexus RS, featuring a protruding nose, a flat front bumper with an X-shaped honeycomb grille, and subtle honeycomb patterns on both sides of the bumper. The LED headlight cluster includes sharp daytime running lights, with separate high and low beams.

The C7 is available with two engine versions: gasoline and PHEV.

The body features flowing lines and semi-hidden door handles. The rear is accentuated by lightning bolt-shaped taillights. Its overall dimensions are 4,660 mm long, 1,875 mm wide, 1,670 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm.

The interior features a minimalist design yet is equipped with advanced technology. Key features include a 15,6-inch 2K central infotainment screen, an 8-speaker sound system, power-adjustable seats with memory and ventilation functions, 256-color ambient lighting, 50W wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof.

The gasoline version of the C7 is powered by a 1,6-liter turbocharged TGDI engine, producing 183 horsepower and 275 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and front-wheel drive.

The PHEV version features a 1,5-liter turbocharged engine integrated with the Super Hybrid System (SHS), delivering a total output of 346 horsepower and accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 8,4 seconds. Its battery pack has a capacity of 18,4 kWh, enabling an all-electric range of 108 km. The battery is water-resistant, impact-resistant, and features real-time temperature monitoring. Omoda states that the C7 PHEV will have an operating range of up to 1,250 km, with fuel consumption of just 1,3 liters/100 km. The safety system includes 18 advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) features.

Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam is offering a 15 million VND incentive for the gasoline C7 and an 18 million VND incentive for the PHEV version to the first 200 customers, valid until 31/3. Expected vehicle delivery is from 5-7 this year. Warranty includes seven years or one million km for the entire vehicle, 10 years or one million km for the gasoline and electric powertrains, and eight years or one million km for the high-voltage battery.

The introduction of the Omoda C7 will intensify competition in the C-segment CUV market, which already features 20 different models. This segment is a top seller in the Vietnamese market due to its size and features, which suit diverse family needs. Priced between 839-949 million VND, the C7 positions itself in the mid-range of the segment, higher than models like the Mitsubishi Destinator, Ford Territory, or many versions of the Mazda CX-5. This Chinese model is only priced lower than premium segment leaders such as the Honda CR-V and Subaru Forester.
