The Legend Edition primarily distinguishes itself with minor exterior and interior details. It introduces a new Selenium Grey paint color and brown leather upholstery, replacing the previous black. An edition-specific badge with a serial number from 001 to 215 adorns the rear. Inside, the headrests feature an embossed Peugeot lion logo with the number 215.
The Peugeot 408 is a C-segment crossover, sharing its platform with the 3008, also sold in Vietnam. However, the two models have distinct interior and exterior designs. The 408 measures 4,690 mm long, 1,850 mm wide, and 1,480 mm high, with 189 mm of ground clearance. Compared to the 3008 (4,510 x 1,850 x 1,650 mm), the 408 is longer and lower, with similar width. It stands out as the only coupe-styled crossover in the C-segment.
The 408 is powered by a 1.6L Turbo PureTech engine producing 218 hp and 300 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include electronic stability control, hill-start assist, rear sensors and camera, cruise control, front collision warning, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assist. The top two trims add blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and lane change assist.
Customers can choose the Legend Edition for all existing 408 trims: Allure, Premium, and GT. With the 20 million VND premium, prices are 1.039 billion VND, 1.139 billion VND, and 1.289 billion VND, respectively. Customers can also select their preferred serial number when ordering. These prices significantly exceed those of competitors like the Mazda CX-5 (749-999 million VND) and Hyundai Tucson (769-989 million VND).
