Unique Mercedes G-class custom car priced at 3.5 million USD

This one-off build features a hand-sculpted roof, requiring over 3,000 hours of labor, alongside a luxurious leather interior and numerous metal accents.

Polish tuning company Carlex Design has unveiled its special "G-Stallion" edition, based on the Mercedes G-class. This exclusive custom build is valued at 3.5 million USD and will be displayed at the International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition in Abu Dhabi in late August.

In recent years, Carlex Design has established a distinct reputation compared to traditional car tuners. Instead of focusing on installing aggressive body kits, spoilers, or rims, the company shifted towards collaborating with skilled artisans for handcrafted painting and engraving, transforming cars into mobile works of art.

The G-Stallion clearly demonstrates this approach. The most valuable and labor-intensive highlight of the vehicle lies in its roof.

The roof was handcrafted from a flat aluminum sheet, consuming over 3,000 hours of manual labor.

The interior of the custom build features chestnut-colored leather.

Beyond genuine leather, the tuning company incorporated metal materials for interior decoration.

The entire interior is upholstered in leather.

The process of shaping the roof began with a flat aluminum sheet. Artisans then hand-formed it using traditional metal tools and wooden molds. After achieving the perfect shape, painters started a meticulous process, primarily using black and silver tones combined with gold accents.

A distinctive feature on the roof is a large, detailed horse image, surrounded by intricate floral patterns. According to Carlex Design, the roof alone required over 3,000 hours of manual labor.

In addition to its unique roof, the G-Stallion is equipped with a body kit featuring extended wheel arches, newly designed front and rear bumpers, custom pinstripes, and brand logos.

The car's interior is meticulously crafted, matching the exterior's exclusivity. Carlex used chestnut-colored leather to upholster all seats, door panels, the dashboard, steering wheel, and central console.

The interior stands out with a series of real metal details and clasps, combined with numerous soft Alcantara surfaces, including the tailgate trim. The decorative elements inside are also handcrafted and synchronized with the exterior theme.

Carlex Design's choice of Abu Dhabi for the G-Stallion's launch and sale is considered a strategic move. This aims to target affluent customers who are willing to pay large sums for unique, exquisitely handcrafted products.
