The Lac Hong 900 LX draws inspiration from the "Children of Dragon, Grandchildren of Fairy" legend. Both versions feature a 3,349 mm wheelbase and a stately, luxurious design. The gold-plated Lac bird logo, the Dong Son drum-inspired grille, and the bamboo-inspired vertical bars all reflect Vietnamese cultural heritage.

The interior features high-end materials like Golden Nanmu wood, Nappa leather, and real gold. The gold-plated details are handcrafted. The rear compartment is designed for dignitaries, with a soundproof glass partition, electric curtains, and a communication system to the driver's compartment.

The armored version features full armor plating, reinforced chassis, windows, and partitions. Developed in collaboration with Inkas (Canada), VinFast tested the vehicle at the Beschussamt Ulm center (Germany) with 440 rounds of ammunition and 11 mine explosions from various locations. The vehicle meets VPAM VR7 standards, resistant to NATO Ball M80 bullets and DM51 grenades.

The engine, similar to the VF 9 Plus, consists of two 150 kW electric motors, delivering 402 horsepower in the standard version and 455 horsepower in the armored version, with 620 Nm of torque. The vehicle has a range of up to 595 km on a single charge. It also features run-flat tires that allow for an additional 80-100 km of driving when punctured, and optional features include an oxygen supply system, fire suppression system, satellite phone, warning lights, and a siren.

Nguyen Viet Quang, Vice Chairman and CEO of Vingroup, stated that VinFast continues to affirm its role as a national brand with the Lac Hong 900 LX, serving the momentous A80 event. The vehicle is being showcased at the "80 Years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" exhibition at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Dong Anh, Hanoi, from 28/8 to 5/9. This nationwide cultural and political event commemorates the 80th anniversary of National Day on 2/9.

The exhibition covers nearly 260,000 m2, the largest scale to date, with participation from 34 provinces and cities, 28 ministries and sectors, and over 230 booths from 106 state-owned and private enterprises. The event is open to the public free of charge until 5/9.
