The VF 7 received its award at the annual Zee Media Auto Summit, an event that gathers leading executives, experts, and innovators in India. This summit celebrates outstanding achievements, discusses trends shaping the future of mobility, and is highly regarded for its professional quality.
The VinFast electric SUV impressed the judging panel with its futuristic design language, which seamlessly integrates aesthetics and functionality. The company states that the VF 7's design draws inspiration from spacecraft, setting it apart in the C-segment electric SUV category. Key exterior features of the VF 7 include hidden door handles, a wide body, and a sloping roofline.
Inside, the VF 7 features an "asymmetric universe" design developed by Torino Design, with a driver-centric cabin. The vehicle offers a panoramic glass roof, a large touchscreen, and advanced driver assistance systems (adas).

This award marks the latest achievement for the VF 7, nearly one year after its launch in the Indian market. Previous accolades for the VinFast electric SUV include "most anticipated new vehicle" from ABP Live News and "breakthrough electric vehicle of the year" from Jagran Hi Tech Awards. Both the VF 7 and the VF 6 models are assembled at VinFast's factory in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu state.
Pham Sanh Chau, General Director of VinFast Asia, stated that the VF 7 represents the company's enduring commitment to providing stylish, sustainable, and market-appropriate mobility solutions in India. "This award reflects the ongoing efforts of our entire team in our journey of innovation," he said.
Rajiv Malik, automotive editor at Zee Media Publications, commented that the VF 7 exemplifies excellence in contemporary automotive design, distinguished by its harmonious proportions and meticulous craftsmanship. "This recognition affirms VinFast's vision to create vehicles that elegantly combine luxury and advanced technology, meeting the evolving expectations of consumers," he noted.
In the Indian market, VinFast is building a comprehensive electric vehicle ecosystem, encompassing manufacturing, retail, charging infrastructure, and after-sales services. The Vietnamese electric car manufacturer currently operates 24 dealerships in key cities, with plans to expand to 35 dealerships by the end of the 2025 fiscal year.
