VinFast's all-electric SUV, the VF 7, has been honored with the electric SUV of the year award at the BBC Topgear India Awards 2026. This annual accolade, presented by BBC Topgear India magazine, holds significant influence across the country and region, recognizing outstanding vehicle models and innovations in the automotive sector.

At this year's event, the VinFast VF 7 impressed the judging panel with its product development approach, specifically tailored for the Indian market. This market increasingly prioritizes long-term value, operating costs, and safety. The Vietnamese electric SUV was recognized for meeting these expectations, excelling in design, technology, features, and performance.

Positioned in the C-SUV segment, the VF 7 showcases VinFast's "Asymmetric Universe" design language, integrating modern technologies and advanced safety systems. It also delivers a sporty driving experience, a key characteristic within VinFast's global product lineup. The VF 7 recently earned a 5-star safety certification from BNCAP, establishing a significant presence in India's rapidly expanding electric vehicle market.

According to VinFast, this award at the BBC TopGear India Awards 2026 marks a significant milestone for the VF 7 and further enhances VinFast's track record in international expansion. The recognition also underscores the Vietnamese automaker's consistent strategy: making premium electric vehicle models accessible to a broad global audience.
