Yadea launches back-to-school promotions

Yadea Vietnam offers discounts for trading in gasoline-powered vehicles for electric scooters and has designed financial packages to suit students' needs until 31/10.

In the "trade-in" program organized by Yadea Vietnam, customers can bring their old gasoline-powered or electric vehicles of any brand to Yadea stores nationwide to exchange for new models like the Ossy and Orla (P, Strawberry P, Strawberry, and regular Orla versions).

Participants will receive a 2 million VND discount and a 2% exemption from registration tax, reducing the cost of owning an environmentally friendly, smart electric scooter. Yadea Vietnam also offers financial packages and installment plans suitable for students and young people.

A Yadea representative stated that the company aims to "transform electric vehicles into mobile smart devices" rather than competing on price or engine performance. Yadea scooters emphasize connectivity, remote management, and user-vehicle interaction through a smartphone app. They also come in various colors, with trendy combinations to attract young users.

To reach young people during the back-to-school season, the electric scooter company held an experiential event at Hanoi University Stadium on 16/9. Attendees tested Yadea's product range, including the Orla, Ossy, and Vekoo. They also participated in recreational activities and received gift combos including tote bags, T-shirts, and Soobin keychains.

Previously, Yadea expanded its product line in Vietnam with the Flit and Vito electric bicycles, designed for young people seeking flexible urban transportation. The Yadea Vito costs 14.99 million VND and uses a 36V-10.4 Ah lithium battery. The Flit is priced at 15.99 million VND and uses a 36V-7.8 Ah battery. Both models utilize a 250W rear-hub motor, a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain, and a 14-28T cassette, achieving a top speed of 25 km/h.

During the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit on 31/8, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Wang Jiazhong, Vice President of Yadea Technology Group. He encouraged the group to expand its investment in Vietnam's electric vehicle sector, transfer technology, increase localization rates, and participate in Vietnam's green transportation transition. Following this, Yadea partnered to develop an electric vehicle ecosystem for Vietnamese students and young people, with more emission-reduction activities planned nationwide.

Yadea is a leading global manufacturer of two-wheeled electric vehicles, having led the industry in sales for eight consecutive years, according to Frost & Sullivan China. The company has 10 global production and R&D centers and a distribution network in over 100 countries and territories. In Vietnam, Yadea has two factories in Bac Ninh with a total investment of over 100 million USD and a design capacity of 2 million vehicles per year. It is also building a green energy R&D center for Southeast Asia.
