This information was shared by Fabrizio Pettazzi, Head of Systems and Services at Signify Asia-Pacific, at the "Smart Energy Connection, Leading the Green Future" event on the afternoon of 26/8.
According to Mr. Pettazzi, switching to smart lighting can be the fastest way to reduce greenhouse gases.
Sharing the same view, Bruno Jaspaert, General Director of DEEP C Industrial Zones and Chairman of EuroCham Vietnam, said that smart technology helps save costs, creates a better working environment, meets international standards, and attracts foreign investors.

Vietnam has committed to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Mr. Jaspaert said this is a big challenge, but it also opens up a golden opportunity for businesses. With DEEP C, he said that developing ecological and sustainable industrial zones must also be profitable.
In Hai Phong, DEEP C has installed a 2.3 MWp wind turbine, helping to reduce about 1,691 tons of CO2 each year. Recently, the company experimented with building a road from recycled plastic waste, a solution to address the problem of environmental pollution.
In addition, the collaboration with Signify to replace the old lighting system with smart LEDs has helped save 45% of energy consumption, equivalent to a reduction of more than 60 tons of CO2 each year. This also helps the industrial zone optimize energy by up to 50% through sensors and real-time data.
