Marking five years of development (2022-2026), ABI Hanoi, established in 2021, has grown from approximately 50 initial members into a robust network. This network comprises businesses and individuals active across various sectors of the architecture, construction, and interior value chain. To facilitate more specific cooperation needs, the association has organized dedicated connection groups focusing on civil projects, general contracting, and other specialized areas.
ABI Hanoi's commitment to fostering a dynamic community is evident in its consistent networking activities. Beyond large-scale events, the association hosts regular meetings on the last friday of each month. These gatherings allow members to discuss work, receive updates on association activities, and welcome new members and guests. This operational approach ensures a continuous flow of connections, with new faces, businesses, and collaboration opportunities emerging monthly. For any business community, expansion is measured not just by member count, but by the quality of relationships capable of generating value.

The tangible impact of these connections is reflected in ABI Hanoi's commercial transaction data. In 2024, the total value of commercial transactions arising from member connections exceeded 16,658 billion VND. This figure saw a significant increase in 2025, reaching over 34,071 billion VND, representing a growth of more than 100% compared to the previous year. For the first 8 months of 2026, the recorded value of trade promotion surpassed 16,882 billion VND. These figures highlight that the value within this business community extends beyond single transactions, emphasizing its ability to create multiple connection points among entities within the same ecosystem.
For ABI Hanoi, trade promotion is more than simply introducing products. It is a process that advances relationships, moving from acquaintance to understanding and ultimately to cooperation. Furthermore, a professional community aiming for long-term sustainability cannot rely solely on transactions. Over its five years, ABI Hanoi has maintained diverse activities, including networking, training, social exchanges, sports, and charity initiatives.
A prominent member engagement program is the "ABI Cup," featuring sports like football, pickleball, and golf. These events offer an alternative to negotiation tables or trade promotion sessions, providing members with additional opportunities to meet, compete, socialize, and build closer relationships.

Additionally, the association undertakes charity work, including school construction, alongside training programs and exchanges with other professional communities and businesses. These non-business activities contribute to the community's cohesive foundation, fostering trust, interaction, and a spirit of companionship among members.
The 5-year milestone will be celebrated with an anniversary ceremony scheduled for 5/9 at the National Convention Center. This event will serve as an occasion for members, partners, and guests to reflect on the journey and achievements.
An ABI Hanoi representative stated that while five years marks a significant achievement, the true measure of success lies in the network's ability to open new opportunities, sustain relationships, and deliver tangible value to participating businesses. The objective is not to build a community with a large number of members, but rather one characterized by genuine interaction, sustainable cohesion, and value creation for all involved parties.
Looking ahead, ABI Hanoi aims not only to expand its scale but also to enhance the quality of its connections, strengthen specialized groups, increase trade promotion opportunities, and broaden its links with other professional associations, business communities, and investors.
