A representative of Aeon Vietnam said that tree planting is one of the actions that clearly demonstrates the group's basic philosophy. This is the pursuit of peace, respect for people, and contribution to the community, always placing customers as the core value.
The tree planting ceremony is part of the "Aeon Hometown Forest" program - an initiative launched in 1991 and now one of the group's signature environmental activities. Specifically, whenever a new business location opens, the company organizes tree planting on the premises, with the participation of local residents.
As a traditional activity, this event is always held with the participation of the community and customers in each locality, so that each tree is a symbol of Aeon's strong commitment to nature and the people here. As of February of this year, the total number of trees planted by the group globally has reached over 12.7 million, including over 113,000 in Vietnam.
