Mutters expressed gratitude to the city's leadership for their ongoing support of Heineken Vietnam's operations since its inception. He also reaffirmed the company's commitment to contributing to the city's development.

Ho Chi Minh City is home to two breweries central to Heineken Vietnam's strategy. The Hoc Mon brewery is the company's first in Vietnam, while the Vung Tau brewery is Heineken's largest in the Asia-Pacific region by output and serves as its innovation hub.
During the meeting, Duoc praised Heineken Vietnam's proactive business approach and acknowledged the company's significant contributions to both Vietnam's and Ho Chi Minh City's economic growth.

In 2024, Heineken Vietnam remained one of Ho Chi Minh City's top taxpayers, contributing 0.5% of the national GDP and 1.7% of the state budget's total revenue. The company also spent 19,500 billion VND on domestic procurement. To meet evolving consumer demand, the company continuously introduces innovative products, including lower-alcohol options like Heineken Silver and Tiger Crystal, 250 ml coolpacks, and the non-alcoholic Heineken 0.0, promoting responsible drinking.

A company representative stated that Heineken Vietnam prioritizes sustainable development in all its operations, striving to create a better Vietnam and fostering community engagement. Mutters also discussed the company's initiative to reuse treated wastewater for landscaping at its Hoc Mon and Vung Tau breweries. He proposed developing national technical standards for industrial wastewater reuse to support other businesses in implementing similar water recycling solutions.
Looking forward, Heineken Vietnam pledges to continue collaborating closely with the city to promote economic growth, innovation, and sustainability, thereby advancing Vietnam's long-term goals.
