Jane Nguyen, Country Director of AI Rudder Vietnam, observes that Vietnam is a dynamic, fast-growing market, with increasing technology adoption among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This trend reflects a shift from experimenting with AI to its practical application.
With a vision and strategy for market expansion, AI Rudder announced the establishment of a local team, departing from the typical "representative office" approach. The company plans to boost voice AI (natural language voice assistants), supporting the processing of large call volumes simultaneously. These assistants will serve needs such as payment reminders, user information verification (KYC), customer service, and marketing. This technology targets industries with high interaction volumes in Vietnam, including banking, finance, insurance, e-commerce, and telecommunications.
Nguyen emphasizes that the company has a local team ready to assist clients from consultation through actual operation, rather than merely selling software and leaving businesses to manage on their own.

AI Rudder enters the Vietnamese market as the Artificial Intelligence Law (No. 134/2025/QH15) took effect in march, marking a legal turning point for the domestic AI industry. Nguyen points out that many financial and banking businesses currently face dual pressure: optimizing operational costs and improving user experience to retain users in an increasingly competitive market.
The platform offers strengths in real-time multilingual communication and understanding local culture. Voice AI also leverages its natural language processing (NLP), natural language understanding (NLU), and natural language generation (NLG) capabilities, combined with large language models (LLM) to meet complex client requirements.

According to the company, a common barrier for many companies when adopting AI is a reluctance to overhaul their entire operating system. The representative stated: "We connect existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems via application programming interfaces (APIs), supporting simultaneous operation across multiple channels: voice, chat, SMS, WhatsApp, and Zalo."
The representative also noted that the platform complies with international data protection standards such as General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), as well as domestic regulations. This is a factor increasingly considered by Vietnamese businesses as personal data protection rules tighten.
In the coming period, the unit will continue to expand cooperation with local partners and invest in initiatives to support customers.
Before arriving in Vietnam, AI Rudder (headquartered in Singapore) had a presence in many markets across the APAC and Latin American regions, serving businesses in banking, financial services, insurance, retail, and telecommunications.
