Bamboo Airways begins operations at Tan Son Nhat's T3 terminal

Bamboo Airways commences domestic flights at T3, Tan Son Nhat international airport's modern and large-scale domestic terminal.

On 18/8, Bamboo Airways officially launched operations at terminal T3.

According to Le Thai Sam, chairman of the Board of Directors of Bamboo Airways, the airline chose its 7th anniversary to transition to T3 as a statement of its commitment to innovation and adaptability in this new chapter. He added that the airline will continuously improve and upgrade its services to better serve its customers.

Earlier, at 12:25 AM, flight QH283 from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City was the first to operate from T3. Truong Phuong Thanh, CEO of Bamboo Airways, stated that thanks to thorough preparation and coordination with the airport and related parties, the transition went smoothly.

On the first morning of operations at T3, all Bamboo Airways flights departed on time. Only one passenger mistakenly went to terminal T1 and was quickly assisted by the airline's ground staff to reach T3 in time for their flight.

According to Thanh, the modern, spacious T3 terminal will allow Bamboo Airways to enhance its digital transformation and optimize operations. This will also improve the passenger experience and contribute to maintaining the airline's on-time performance record, which it has held since 2019.

During the first week of the transition, from 18/8 to 24/8, the airline is offering a ticket change policy for passengers. Passengers who miss their Bamboo Airways flights departing from T3 due to misinformation, but arrive at T3 within 20 minutes of the departure time printed on their ticket and are confirmed by Bamboo Airways ground staff, will be offered a free ticket change to the next flight on the same route. If the next flight is full, Bamboo Airways will offer a free ticket change to the nearest available flight with no fare difference.
