The launch event on 19/1 upgraded BEST Express's express delivery service into a comprehensive, integrated logistics platform, or "one-stop express", in the Vietnam market. BEST Cargo was introduced to solve the challenge of transporting large goods for e-commerce platforms and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This service aims to meet the growing online sales of bulky items such as home appliances and furniture.

The first franchised BEST Cargo service post office is owned by Bui Thi Kieu Diem. She currently operates three post offices in Tan Phu district, TP HCM, handling over 2,000 orders daily. Explaining her investment decision, Diem stated that as online shopping for bulky, large-sized items on e-commerce platforms increases, door-to-door delivery services for this segment remain limited and lack standardization. She recognized the development potential of the BEST Cargo model.
Consequently, when BEST Express Vietnam sought partners for its BEST Cargo service, Diem expanded this service to her post office in Tan Son Nhi ward. This combined express delivery and freight transport post office model aims to overcome common limitations in large-item transport for small independent businesses, such as high costs, slow delivery times, and susceptibility to scratches or damage.

The service also offers flexible scalability for door-to-door deliveries of goods weighing up to 150 kg. This enables businesses to easily expand their sales operations without needing to integrate various other services.
Another reason for Diem's confidence in this model is its foundation on the BEST Express platform, which benefits from three key advantages: an extensive network density, standardized operational experience, and robust digitalization capabilities.
Upon commencing operations, Diem's post office immediately received large-weight orders from bicycle shops, sanitary equipment retailers, and bathtub suppliers, demonstrating the existing demand within this segment.
Gavin Lu, General Director of BEST Express Vietnam, shared that the launch of BEST Cargo marks a significant milestone in completing their logistics service portfolio in Vietnam. BEST Cargo is not merely an expanded service but a structural upgrade, bringing BEST Express Vietnam closer to its commitment of sustainable partnership with customers. "When a partner can utilize a comprehensive package, from consumer goods delivery to large consignment transport, within the same ecosystem, the economic wheel will turn faster, and everyone will move forward together", Gavin Lu said.
Using the recently launched first franchised BEST Cargo post office as a standard model, BEST Express Vietnam announced its plans to rapidly expand this network nationwide in the coming period. Concurrently, the company commits to continued investment in logistics infrastructure and enhancement of operational capabilities. This aims to build a sustainable, efficient logistics platform that supports the development of Vietnam's digital economy.
Entering the Vietnam market in 2019, BEST Express Vietnam has expanded its nationwide network, achieving 99% service coverage with 40 sorting centers totaling over 100,000 m2. The sorting centers in Bac Ninh and TP HCM are the company's two largest in Southeast Asia. The entire system currently processes 2,2 million orders daily, serving over 30,000 online shops with an accuracy rate of 99,9% and a damage rate below 0,01%.
