In its first year participating in the survey, BUV's performance indicators met expectations across all five stages of talent attraction. This propelled the university beyond the "known" category directly into the "desired choice" group.
According to the Anphabe report, BUV achieved an 83,6% awareness level, exceeding the industry average of 75%. Furthermore, 6,7% of professionals in the sector considered BUV a potential career destination, and 3,8% were ready to apply – several times higher than the 1,5% average. Additionally, 2,5% of respondents rated BUV as an "ideal workplace", nearly three times higher than the general benchmark.
The report also highlighted key factors contributing to BUV's appeal, including its transparent international environment, a culture of respect and diversity, clear development opportunities, integrity as a core criterion, and modern, safe workspaces. Consequently, the university also ranked third in the Services - Consulting - Education - Media - Entertainment industry sector.

Ms. Tran Thi Lan Huong, HR Director at BUV, stated that unlike models solely focused on talent acquisition, the university adopts a comprehensive employee life cycle approach. Each stage, from onboarding and development to engagement, is designed as a crucial component to maximize the potential of every individual.
"We also foster engagement and contribute to the organization's sustainable development", she emphasized.
As an international environment with staff from diverse cultures and educational systems, BUV requires flexible and nuanced management. Most employees possess high academic qualifications, and 100% of lecturers hold international degrees, creating a high-quality and diverse workforce.
In terms of training and development, BUV implements a multi-tiered development system for both Vietnamese and international staff. Regular professional training courses, management skill workshops, and sessions on mental health, innovation, or global work skills are conducted. This ensures the team continuously enhances its capabilities and adapts to the rapid changes of the digital age.
Moreover, BUV maintains a culture of lifelong learning as a core value, ensuring operational flexibility and fostering interaction between departments. This leads to more effective and seamless team coordination.

Concurrently, BUV focuses on nurturing a cohesive and diverse internal community. Additionally, the university offers quarterly and annual awards to recognize outstanding teams and individuals, motivating them and reinforcing a culture that encourages growth.
Regarding welfare benefits, BUV applies a comprehensive policy system that prioritizes both physical and mental health. This includes premium health insurance, regular health check-ups, flexible leave, support during personal hardships, and a performance-based bonus mechanism. Alongside this, a modern, environmentally friendly workspace combined with a transparent, respectful, and inclusive code of conduct empowers employees and ensures their voices are heard.

Professor Rick Bennett, Vice Principal and Vice President of BUV, shared that the university has shifted its focus from merely attracting to nurturing and developing talent long-term. According to him, a positive work environment must operate efficiently and consistently. This criterion has also contributed to BUV's continued achievement of the QS 5-Star international certification for the second cycle in six consecutive years.
"When teams are properly supported, they have the foundation to contribute sustainably and realize their full potential", he emphasized.
Moving forward, BUV will also focus on building long-term development pathways for individuals committed to the university. On its journey towards being positioned as a leading international university in Vietnam and the region, aiming to enter the top 100 universities in Asia, the university continues to invest in programs that enhance employee experience, apply technology to university management, and implement strategies to attract high-quality talent from various countries.
The "100 Best Workplaces in Vietnam" ranking has been conducted annually by Anphabe for the past 12 years. The ranking is sponsored by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and verified by market research company Intage Vietnam, featuring participation from major brands like Viettel, FPT, Vinamilk, Unilever, Nestle, Samsung, Techcombank, and HSBC.
The 2025 survey recorded 73,000 respondents, including over 7,000 students, evaluating more than 650 businesses across 18 key industries. In addition to honoring the most preferred workplaces, the program also publishes an in-depth report based on a five-stage talent attraction model: Awareness - Interest - Application - Desire - Priority Choice. This helps businesses identify strengths, areas for improvement, and the competitiveness of their employer brand in the market.
