CAEX partners with HashKey to build a digital asset trading platform

Vietnam prosperity digital asset exchange joint stock company (CAEX) has formed a technology partnership with HashKey Digital Asset Group to develop a dedicated digital asset exchange for the Vietnamese market.

The agreement was signed on 22/4 during the Hong Kong Web3 Festival 2026. Both parties will jointly develop an international-standard trading platform, aiming to meet Vietnam's licensing requirements once the legal framework is complete and implemented. The objective is to contribute to a transparent, secure digital asset market that fosters long-term investor trust.

HashKey will serve as CAEX's core technology partner, granting exclusive rights to its institutional-grade exchange technology for digital asset trading operations in Vietnam. HashKey will also provide comprehensive support, from system architecture and security to building compliance mechanisms, while co-developing a platform customized and localized for the Vietnamese market.

According to CAEX representatives, selecting HashKey is strategically significant during the infrastructure preparation phase for Vietnam's digital asset market. HashKey is currently one of the leading companies in this sector in Asia, with proven experience in deploying and operating licensed trading platforms, alongside verified governance systems and technology.

The collaboration between HashKey's technological capabilities and CAEX's domestic market advantages is expected to accelerate the development of Vietnam's digital asset sector, particularly as investor demand and interest continue to grow.

Recently, CAEX has been actively developing its ecosystem, focusing on strengthening financial capacity, expanding partnerships, and investing in technology infrastructure. This partnership with HashKey is a strategic move to prepare simultaneously for technology, operations, and legal compliance.

CAEX operates as part of VPBank's financial ecosystem, aiming to build a transparent and secure digital asset trading platform. The company benefits from the involvement of entities like VPBankS and LynkiD, supported by a team of experts in finance, technology, and cybersecurity.

HashKey Exchange, operated by Hash Blockchain Limited, is part of HashKey Holdings Limited, a company listed in Hong Kong. It stands as one of the first retail digital asset exchanges to be licensed in that market.

The platform is regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and holds Type one (securities trading) and Type seven (automated trading services) licenses, along with a digital asset exchange license under anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing regulations. The exchange has achieved ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications for operational safety and data security. By regulation, HashKey Exchange currently does not provide services in certain markets, such as: mainland China, the US, and other jurisdictions.
