The Global Banking and Finance Review award, presented in April, recognized CIMB's effective and sustainable development strategy in the Vietnamese market. This is the fifth time the bank has been honored by this organization.
The selection committee highlighted CIMB's integrated digital banking model as a key strength. The bank has connected its financial products with platforms like Zalopay and F88, simplifying processes and expanding access to digital financial services, especially for younger demographics like Millennials and Gen Z. This integration bridges the gap between the bank and users, demonstrating flexibility in coordinating digital ecosystems. It also provides a foundation for CIMB to expand its scale and promote growth on the technology platform.
Also in April, CIMB Vietnam received the "Outstanding Digital Strategy" award, recognizing its innovative digitalization initiatives, particularly product integration into partner platforms and user experience optimization.
The bank stated it will continue expanding cooperation with digital platforms while developing AI-powered financial analysis tools, personalizing products, and diversifying services to enhance user experience and competitiveness.
Beyond business operations, CIMB also focuses on building a diverse and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and empowers employees. This effort was acknowledged with the "Great Place to Work" certification earlier this year.
According to a bank representative, these three international awards motivate CIMB Vietnam to continue developing towards its goal of becoming a reputable and pioneering digital bank in Vietnam.
