The Vu Lan festival break is an annual policy within CT Group's 360-degree employee benefits program. Tran Kim Chung, Chairman of CT Group, stated that employees have been working tirelessly to meet deadlines on numerous projects and events. This 8-day break serves as encouragement and allows staff to rest and dedicate time to their parents and families.
"Living a meaningful life is the ideal for everyone in the group. Gratitude is a core human value, especially towards our parents. From this, they will return to work with more energy, a deeper sense of responsibility, and spread strength to contribute to the community and society," he said.
Many employees immediately returned home for the extended break, which is comparable in length to the Lunar New Year holiday. Thuy Linh from the recruitment department shared her plans to return home to be with her parents. Having worked at the group for many years, she has always enjoyed an extended Vu Lan break.
"This year is even more surprising with an 8-day break. It's like having another long Tet holiday," she said.

However, some staff members chose to stay during the holiday period to maintain work momentum. Tuong Vi from the communications department shared that instead of returning home to her parents as in previous years, she wanted to stay and help the factory prepare for large UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) orders.
"My parents follow the group's news and are very proud to tell our neighbors that Vietnam is exporting aircraft, and their daughter is involved," she added.
Through these benefits, CT Group aims to make work-life balance not just a slogan, but a sustainable cultural aspect. The Vu Lan holiday break fosters connection and happiness among employees, while also inspiring a business model that harmonizes sustainable business development and nurturing spiritual values.
A representative of the group stated that this could be a new measure of a progressive enterprise, one that not only generates growth but also cultivates peace, teaches people how to work effectively, and reminds them how to love.
