Real estate developer Chancerygate and investor Bridges Fund Management have announced the completion of Capital Park, a 12,263 m2 (1.23 ha) urban logistics and commercial park on Bankhead Avenue in Sighthill, Edinburgh, Scotland.
The 35 million GBP project comprises 18 high-quality commercial units, ranging from 257 m2 to over 1,586 m2.

Capital Park features electric vehicle charging stations, an airtight design to minimize air leakage, and solar panels on several units. The entire park uses insulated wall and roof materials to reduce CO2 emissions. These sustainability features have earned the park an EPC "A" rating (Energy Performance Certificate, with A being the highest) and a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) "Very Good" certification.
Current tenants include national building materials distributor Travis Perkins, office technology company Agilico, and mobile phone and accessories wholesaler Zavi Tech. Negotiations are underway with three more businesses, bringing the total leased or soon-to-be-leased space to 50% of Capital Park's total area. Remaining units, ranging from 257 m2 to nearly 1,204 m2, are available for lease, with options to combine units for larger spaces.
Andy Farrer, Chancerygate's development director, stated, "We strive to deliver leading urban logistics and commercial properties. Capital Park exemplifies this commitment. We believe this sets a new standard for this type of real estate in Edinburgh",
Farrer added that Chancerygate employed the latest technologies to construct high-quality, sustainable buildings in strategic locations to meet the needs of businesses prioritizing both location and amenities.
"Having 50% of the park either let or under offer is a positive sign. We look forward to announcing further new occupiers choosing Capital Park," he said.
