Regional power companies and the high-voltage grid company have been instructed to increase inspections and promptly address any defects in power equipment and grids. Clearing vegetation along power lines is also being carried out to enhance the safety of the power system. Concurrently, EVNHCMC is promoting public awareness about maintaining safety corridors and using electricity safely.
The corporation has developed a detailed power supply plan for the 2/9 holiday, especially for areas hosting large-scale events and festivals. Technical teams are on standby, ready to participate in drills, respond to, and resolve any incidents that may arise. From midnight on 30/8 to midnight on 2/9, no work that could lead to power outages will be carried out, except in unavoidable circumstances or upon special request.
Power companies are proactively collaborating with local authorities to implement security measures at power facilities. Fire prevention and safety plans, as well as measures to protect and prevent encroachment on power line corridors, have been reviewed and are being strictly implemented.
EVNHCMC has confirmed that all communication systems will be maintained throughout the holiday. Adequate materials, backup generators, and personnel are prepared to promptly address any incidents, ensuring a stable and safe power supply for city residents during the holiday.
