Evri extends delivery partnership with Debenhams Group

A two-year extension with Debenhams Group expands Evri's strategic partnership role following a record 807 million parcels delivered.

Evri has signed a two-year delivery partnership extension with Debenhams Group, the online retail group behind brands like Debenhams, PrettyLittleThing, boohoo, boohooMAN, and Karen Millen. The announcement follows the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA)'s approval of the planned merger between Evri and DHL eCommerce UK and marks a record financial year for Evri, handling 807 million parcels.

Under the expanded agreement, Evri will be a key delivery partner for Debenhams Group as it expands its marketplace model, providing faster and more secure delivery for customers across all its brands.

Consumers will also benefit from Evri's growing out-of-home delivery network. The company is investing £50 million to expand its parcel locker network, aiming to double its ParcelShop and locker network to 25,000 locations by 2030.

"This is an exciting time for Evri, as we announce our planned merger with DHL eCommerce UK and continue to invest heavily in doubling the size of our ParcelShop and locker network," said David Saenz, Chief Commercial Officer at Evri. "It is particularly rewarding to be able to further strengthen our long-term customer partnerships."

Debenhams Group Chief Executive Officer, Dan Finley, emphasized that today’s consumers expect speed, flexibility, and transparent tracking in their deliveries. "Extending our partnership with Evri will allow us to provide even more choice and convenience for our customers as they shop from the thousands of brands across the Debenhams Group marketplace," he said.

Evri stated this partnership extension is part of its 2025 growth strategy, following the acquisition of Coll-8, an Irish customs clearance and logistics company, to increase capacity and convenience in the UK parcel delivery market.

Evri, formerly known as Hermes UK, is one of the largest parcel delivery companies in the UK. It currently handles hundreds of millions of parcels annually and is investing heavily in technology and its out-of-home delivery network.

Debenhams Group is an online retail group that owns popular fashion brands like Debenhams, PrettyLittleThing, boohoo, boohooMAN, and Karen Millen, with a strategy focused on expanding its marketplace model to meet diverse consumer shopping needs.
