Family-run bakery expands business opportunities with Misa eShop

Phuong Soat Huy Van Bakery embarks on a digital transformation journey with Misa eShop, a sales, invoicing, and tax filing solution, bringing traditional flavors closer to customers.

Located at 19 Alley 12 Nghia Dung Street, Hong Ha Ward, Phuong Soat Huy Van Bakery is a purveyor of traditional mooncakes in Hanoi.

Previously, the bakery primarily served individual customers with small orders that didn't require invoices. With a staff of about 10, the long-standing brand attracted customers with its quality products and traditional flavors.

According to Nguyen Cam Van, the bakery's owner, the inability to issue invoices for large orders caused the business to miss out on key opportunities. Larger clients, requiring proper invoices for transactions, were unable to do business with the bakery. To address this, the bakery adopted the Misa eShop solution. This software handles sales, invoicing, and tax filing, streamlining the sales process, expanding access to larger clients, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Van shared that using Misa eShop has given the bakery the confidence to serve all customers. "Anyone can buy anything, in any quantity," she said. "I've never used technology like this before. But since using Misa eShop, issuing invoices is very simple; I can do it with just a voice command."

This solution doesn't require investment in bulky equipment; it runs directly on a smartphone with a few taps. After about 30 minutes of familiarization with guidance from Misa staff, Van could easily issue invoices. The software also supports tax management and filing.

Phuong Soat Huy Van Bakery's story demonstrates that digital transformation is within reach for traditional businesses. From a family-run bakery, they can now professionally and efficiently serve a wider range of customers.
